Kimia Farma Group’s Efforts to Prevent Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism through LHKPN Socialization
Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism are fraud or misappropriation of a company’s property for personal interest. This practice can threaten the company’s integration. KFTD, a state-owned pharmaceutical distributor in Indonesia, is committed to preventing all corruption practices. One of them is through LHKPN Socialization.
Educative Strategy to Prevent Corruption
Three steps can be implemented to eradicate corruption. They are educational strategy, preventive strategy, and investigative strategy. The first strategy, which is an educative strategy, can be realized through anti-corruption socialization.
On February 12 this year, Kimia Farma Group, including PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD) conducted socialization on Pengisian Laporan Harta Kekayaan Penyelenggara Negara (LHKPN) or Complementing State Officials’ Wealth Reports. Collaborated with Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi Republik Indonesia (KPK RI) or the Corruption Eradication Commission, the socialization was held online via Zoom Meeting.
Socialization of Filling in LHKPN
The Board of Commissioners, Directors, and Senior Leaders from all Kimia Farma Group entities, including KFTD, attended the socialization. Filling in LHKPN at Kimia Farma Group is part of KFTD’s Good Corporate Governance and employees’ support to create a corporation free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism practices.
Through this socialization, all employees must report to LHKPN on time every year. By reporting assets, all forms of corruption can be prevented, and the company can maintain its integrity as a state-owned corporation.
Moreover, LHKPN reporting aims to instill all employees’ integrity, openness, and responsibility and avoid potential conflicts of interest. As for the company, LHKPN reporting shows good business ethics or ethical behavior, delivering positive credit in the national and global markets.
LHKPN reporting becomes an important part of preventing corruption in KFTD. KFTD is committed to making anti-corruption learning a key factor in eliminating corruption, collusion, and nepotism practices.
